The Lake in the Hills Police Department invites you to their annual National Night Out Community Cookout! This free community event is open to all.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
Tour the police station, check out the LifeNet helicopter, watch a live K-9 demo presented by the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, visit with the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District and more! Free hotdogs, chips, and pop will be provided.
We recognize the nationwide event is held on the first Tuesday evening in August; however, the Lake in the Hills Police Department will host the event on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 11 am to 2 pm at the Irv Floress Safety Education Center located at 1109 Crystal Lake Road in Lake in the Hills.
