Join us this April for National Arab American Heritage Month as we celebrate Arab American culture and honor their contributions.
Our presenter, Dima Ali, is a Muslim, an Arab-American Culture and Religion Educator and Facilitator, and a passionate social and racial justice advocate. She presents engaging, interactive sessions covering topics like geography, language, and calligraphy while dispelling myths and fostering cross-cultural understanding. Participants will gain a deeper appreciation for Arab and Islamic culture, critical insights into media portrayals of Islam, and tools to support continued learning and allyship against Islamophobia.
AAPLD embraces inclusivity in its programs and services. To request accommodations, please email [info@aapld.org] or call (847) 458-6060 x143 at least 7 days in advance.
