In celebration of the National Drive Electric Month, join us for an engaging presentation by the Fox Valley Electric Auto Association as they dive into the world of EVs!
Rick Hirschberg, Outreach Director of FVEAA, will explore the technology behind electric vehicles, how they operate, what it’s like to own one, and what the road ahead looks like for EVs. Whether you're a dedicated EV fan or simply curious, this session offers practical insights and firsthand experiences from everyday electric drivers.
The Fox Valley Electric Auto Association (FVEAA), founded in 1975 and incorporated in Illinois in 1979, became a chapter of the Electric Auto Association in 2004. They promote clean, efficient electric vehicle use and support members in transitioning to EV ownership through education and outreach. This year, they are celebrating their 50th anniversary!
The presentation is followed by an EV Car Show in the Harnish library parking lot, 11 am - 3 pm. More details about the Car Show HERE.
