Tree Identification Walk - RO

Join us for a tree identification walk and discover how to identify trees using more than just their leaves.

Rachel Gustafson, MCCD Community Outreach Coordinator and Certified Arborist, will lead a nature walk at Coral Woods, highlighting the twig, bud, and bark characteristics of Illinois native trees. 

Address: Coral Woods Conservation Area, 7400 Somerset Dr, Marengo, IL 60152.

Please arrive at the Coral Woods 10 minutes early so we can begin our walk promptly at 9 a.m. Don’t forget to wear a hat, apply sunscreen, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
