Due to circumstances beyond our control, the licensing for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was unexpectedly revoked as part of the film’s 25th anniversary plans. While we were looking forward to celebrating the wizarding world at Towne Park, Glinda the Good Witch has swooped in to save the day with a magically Wicked evening under the stars instead!
Join us for a special screening of Wicked (2h 40m, Rated: PG) at Towne Park on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The movie will begin at dusk.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy an enchanting night with family and friends in beautiful downtown Algonquin.
Come hungry and treat yourself to a spellbinding lineup of favorites from Bullseye Pub, delicious popcorn from Lincoln Land Kettle Corn, ...plus Butterbeer and other magically inspired treats sure to enchant good witches, wicked witches, and munchkins alike!
This event is weather permitting, with Friday, June 19 scheduled as the rain date.

Parking is available in the lot at the west end of Washington Street.
