Eastgate Large Meeting RoomA Christmas Carol Revisited - Scrooge's Reclamation - This presentation evaluates Scrooge's change from closed-hearted miser to open-hearted philanthropist.
For many people the holidays are a time of moral self-reflection. In addition to being a celebration of Christmas, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is a profound meditation that challenges us to think about duty to others, personal happiness and moral transformation.
Come early for coffee and conversation beginning at 1:30 pm. The program will begin promptly at 2 pm. We welcome the McHenry County Historical Society as partners for this event!
