Come together in a virtual writing room with fellow NaNoWriMos, for timed writing sprints, prizes, camaraderie and fun.
National Novel Writing Month aka "NaNoWriMo" is a month-long challenge to inspire writers of all levels to fulfill their dreams of writing a novel. Each November since the 1990s, thousands of writers around the world commit to writing a 50,000 novel during the month, set goals, and share their joys and frustrations with other writers.
Part of what makes National Novel Writing Month so successful is the community it inspires. Algonquin Area Public Library is pleased to offer weekly Virtual Write-Ins, to bring writers together safely online. The write-ins will be hosted by Adult Services Library Associate Elizabeth Harmon, a published author and multiple NaNoWriMo finisher.
A Zoom link will be emailed to you at least 24 hours before the program. If you do not receive a link, or register on the same day as the program, please contact the Adult Services Department, 847-458-6060.
