Lasers were invented in 1958. Learn how to take apart a laser pointer and use the lens to create a digital microscope!

Younger children will need adult assistance. In addition to the supplies provided families will need a smartphone or tablet with a functioning camera.

Take & Makes are projects you can make from the comfort of your own home! Send photos of a finished project to social@aapld.org to be featured on our social media.

Please register to reserve a project. Pickup begins on Thursday, June 24th, but please wait for the Library to contact you to let you know your project is ready to be picked up.
