The first ten participants to successfully complete the scavenger hunt will receive complimentary admission for themselves and a guest to visit the DuSable Museum of African American History.
Pick up a form at the reference desk at the Main Library or the Eastgate Branch, or access the digital version here. You can complete this scavenger hunt any time during the month of February. However, make sure to turn in your answers (either online or in person) by March 1st to claim your admission to the Museum.
The DuSable Museum of African American History is located in Chicago and is the nation's oldest independent African American museum. The DuSable Museum is proud of its diverse holdings that number more than 15,000 pieces and include paintings, sculpture, print works and historical memorabilia. Through exhibits, educational programs, the archives, and special activities, the Museum continuously explores the African American experience and accomplishments of the past and present to further advance the education of the future.
