The Fox River serves over one million watershed residents every day. It carries wastewater and stormwater from over 100 communities and provides drinking water for over 300,000 residents. It also provides a habitat for a diversity of plants and animals and is an exceptional resource for boaters, paddlers, anglers, and photographers. All the while, the Fox River brings economic value through its aesthetic appeal to every riverfront community.
On It's Our Fox River Day, our communities come together to celebrate the Fox and work to protect and restore its health. Join AAPLD and the Village of Algonquin for a shore cleanup and activities for adults and kids of all ages.
Buffalo Park is located at 19N475 IL Route 31 in Algonquin. This event is weather permitting.
