Make your voice heard! Read books from the Caudill 2023 list and vote on which is your favorite. Track which books you've read using the Beanstack app (iOS/Google Play) or website. Once you've created your Beanstack account, choose the Caudill 2023 Reading Challenge to register. Prefer to keep track on paper? Pick up a log at the Youth Services Desk at the Harnish Main Library or the Customer Service Desk at the Eastgate Branch Library. Read 3 books and get an invitation to vote for your favorite beginning February 15. Read 5 books to earn a patch or read 10 to earn a paperback book to keep!

The Rebecca Caudill Young Readers' Book Award is an annual award given to the author of the book voted most outstanding by students in grades four through eight in participating Illinois schools and libraries.  The Rebecca Caudill Award is administered by the RCYRBA Board of Directors. Cooperating agencies are the Illinois Reading Council and the Association of Illinois School Library Educators.
