Opowiadania po Polsku (Polish Storytime): 10-11 AM: Enjoy stories and songs in Polish (with a bit of English)! Appropriate for ages 3 and up with a caregiver.
Beginning Polish Genealogy: 1-2 PM: Explore your Polish heritage with the help of expert and author Jason Kruski. This program is appropriate for beginners.
The Wici Song and Dance Theater: 11 AM-noon: Organized in 1972 in Chicago, their mission is to promote Polish culture in both the Polish and American communities through song, dance, and music. Wici carries the traditions of their ancestors through with their authentic costumes and original choreography.
Join us in welcoming filmmaker Adrian Prawica for a screening of his documentary The Fourth Partition followed by a Q&A session from 2:30 to 4:00 PM. The film examines the history of Polish immigrants in Chicago focusing on how they aided their beloved Poland in her fight for independence.
