Once you've created your Beanstack account, choose the Monarch 2023 Reading Challenge to register. Prefer to keep track on paper? The Monarch Award: Illinois’ K-3 Readers’ Choice Award is presented annually in March to the author and illustrator of the book voted as their favorite by students in Kindergarten through Grade Three in participating Illinois schools or public libraries. The Monarch Award is sponsored by the Association of Illinois School Library Educators.
