Oceans of Possibilities Summer Reading Kickoff Event

Kids can swim over to the desk for a scavenger hunt form to become a deep sea explorer. While you are there sign up for summer reading and grab supplies to create a family summer bucket list!

Drop in anytime throughout the day to get ready for a summer full of possibilities!

The following programs will be taking place as part of this event

Car Seat Checks with the Algonquin Police Department (10AM-2PM): Car seats and boosters protect children and infants in the event of a crash. Before you hop in the car for summer adventures get one-on-one instruction on how to properly use your car seat. No registration required.

Jump into Summer Fun with Target (10AM-2PM): Join volunteers from the Algonquin Target outside to enjoy a free sweet summer treat in the summer sun, challenge yourself to complete our unlazy river obstacle course, enter to win a raffle basket and more! No registration required.

Tape Town (10AM-4PM): Ever wish there was a whole town for those toy cars you find all over the house? Tape Town is a mini village where with your imagination the possibilities for different adventures are endless. No registration required. 

Storytime with a Police Officer (11-11:30AM): Join us for a special storytime with with an officer from the Algonquin Police Department. Registration required.

Dive into an ocean of possibilities with AAPLD! Sign up for Summer Reading at the Harnish Main Library, the Eastgate Branch or online.
