Memory Cafés are social groups for people living with memory impairments, along with their family, friends, and caregivers.
Each session will feature activities such as reading groups, crafts, music, and more. We'll also discuss practical tips for coping with Alzheimer's or dementia, avoiding caregiver burnout, and other topics. At the Memory Café, you can just be yourself without worrying about remembering or forgetting. Coffee and treats will be served.
Held on the first Thursday of the month at the Eastgate Branch; new members are always welcome.
Please register all members of your party who plan to attend, including caregivers. For questions about this program, please contact kelly.kuningas@aapld.org or call (847)458-6060.
