Wouldn't it be nice if four years from now, out of nowhere, you received a letter from yourself...from the past?
Letters to yourself can be powerful tools for self-improvement, and they're also fun to read. They remind you of what used to be important to you, how much you've changed over the years, and what you thought the future would bring.
Stop by the Adult Services Desk at Harnish Main or the Public Service Desk at Eastgate to pick up a template and an envelope beginning February 1. Fill in the blanks, answer the questions, and predict the future! Be open and honest, as you are both the writer and the reader. Return the finished, self-addressed letter to the library by March 1. The library will mail your letter by next leap year. Please include a valid email address.
AAPLD embraces inclusivity in its programs and services. To request accommodations, please email [events@aapld.org] or call (847) 458-6060 x143 at least 7 days in advance.
