Outdoor adventure begins at the library this summer! We are partnering with McHenry County Conservation District to encourage outdoor exploration as part of the Find Your Wild summer challenge!
Beginning Memorial Day Weekend, stop by the library and pick up a bookmark with a special code to receive points in the Find Your Wild challenge. Points can later be redeemed for prizes! Also check out some of our librarian’s favorite outdoor-themed book recommendations to check out and read at your favorite conservation area, located in the Find Your Wild app!
For the second consecutive year, the McHenry County Conservation District in Illinois is orchestrating a captivating program promoting the exploration of their remarkable natural landscapes. The program entails visits to various preserves, engaging in trivia, and participating in activities. Participants can accumulate points throughout the event, which can be redeemed for prizes and sticker packs showcasing the distinctive preserves of the conservation district.
