Take advantage of this unique opportunity to hop into a hot air balloon basket and explore the inside of the inflated balloon. Take photos, and enjoy this special occasion!
Pilot Glenn O’Connell and his team return to the library for an indoor show-and-tell event all about hot air ballooning. The balloon basket and inflated balloon envelope will be available for exploration by groups. Glenn will show this fascinating lighter-than-air aircraft to 15 to 20 people at a time. Plan to come for a 20 minute tour during the 3-hour open event. Related activities and crafts will be available for children while you wait.
All ages are welcome. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
The balloon won't be inflated with hot air for the safety of the participants and the library. It will be inflated by using an industrial fan.
