June is National Gun Violence Awareness Month. Learn about how to properly store firearms in the home to ensure that no accidents happen and your family stays safe.

Presented by National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) McHenry County through an IL Dept of Public Health grant. All of the firearm safety tools & educational materials are funded by the Firearm Safe Storage Strategies grant from the Illinois Department of Public Health. Learn more about that grant by clicking here. The library will also have free gun safety locks available and these are also paid for by the IDPH grant.
