Join us for a guided Forest Bathing Walk at Binnie Forest Preserve, a peaceful two-hour experience designed to help you unwind, awaken your senses, and connect with nature.
Inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku ("forest bathing" or immersion), this walk invites you to slow down and activate your senses. Your guide is Linda Karlen, an ANFT Certified Forest Therapy Guide. We’ll conclude our time together with a tea ceremony, allowing space for conversation and gratitude. No hiking experience required. This is a slow, intentional walk focused on presence, not distance.
Location: Binnie Forest Preserve, 38W040 Binnie Rd, West Dundee, IL
Please arrive at the Binnie Forest Preserve 10 minutes early so we can begin our walk promptly at 9 a.m. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
