Experience the art of handmade pasta with a bright, springtime twist.
Classroom Kitchen instructor, Kristyn Slick, will create Lemon Ricotta Ravioli with Spring Pea Sauce and Lemon Mascarpone Cups, highlighting the Italian philosophy of la dolce vita, savoring life’s simple, delicious pleasures.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn new skills and build confidence in the kitchen while being guided through every step, from prepping ingredients to cooking and plating the final dish. Kristyn will cook alongside participants, sharing instructions, tips, and tricks throughout the class, which provides time for questions and feedback.
To prepare, participants can purchase the ingredients and gather the kitchen tools listed in the provided recipes (tools are bolded for convenience). Prepping ingredients ahead of time, such as chopping or measuring, can make the class more relaxed but is optional, as the instructor will guide everyone through each step. If any ingredients are unavailable or not preferred, participants can use what they have on hand, and the instructor will help adapt the recipe during class.
Registrants will receive a a live class link at least a week before the event. The program is recorded and will be available on the library's YouTube channel for 30 days.
