Celebrate Black History Month by learning about the artist Alma Woodsey Thomas and creating abstract paintings.

In honor of Black History Month, learn how to make abstract paintings in the style of African American artist Alma Woodsey Thomas. Thomas used simple dashed lines to create beautiful paintings full of color. We will practice a few different methods and then create our own dashed line circles on canvas.
