Smocking--an embroidery technique often used by cosplayers--creates texture. Join instructor and award-winning costume designer Maggie Hofmann and try your hand!

Maggie Hofmann (she/her) is an award-winning costume designer and the author of Smocking Secrets. Based in Chicago, she has an education in theatrical costume design, 20 years of sewing experience, and over 10 years of professional experience making costumes for theatre.
