Join us for a full-day excursion to the Adler Planetarium. Discover unrivaled insights into our solar system and enjoy breathtaking terrace views, as well as fascinating sculptures on campus.
Located on the Museum Campus, jutting into Lake Michigan, the Adler Planetarium stands as the first of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, establishing itself as a renowned authority in science education. Offering immersive theater experiences, special exhibitions, and engaging events like lectures and viewing parties, the Adler allows you to embark on an awe-inspiring journey through the cosmos. Delve into the mysteries of powerful black holes or soar to the outer reaches alongside Voyager 1, humanity's most distant creation from Earth.
You must register online or in person at either Library location. No credit card information will be taken over the phone. Please register each person in your group individually. Nonrefundable payment is due at the time of registration. The fee of $30 per person includes transportation from the Harnish Main Library to the Adler Planetarium, admission fee, and a show. Transportation provided by M&M Limousine Services: 56 PASSENGER EXECUTIVE BUS. The bus will leave the Library promptly at 8 am; please be on time. You are welcome to bring a nonperishable lunch. All attendees will be required to sign a release of liability before the day of the trip. All minors (14–17) must be accompanied by an adult (20+).
