Join us for a hands-on workshop on Polish paper cutouts to celebrate Polish-American Heritage Month.
Polish papercutting, known as wycinanki, is a traditional folk art created through cutting, clipping, punching, tearing, and carving paper into both abstract and recognizable shapes. Polish American artist and educator Grace Bazylewski has been practicing and teaching this intricate art form for over thirty-five years. In this hands-on program, participants will design and craft their own vibrant wycinanki pieces to take home.
