Join us for an after-hours genealogy workshop featuring a presentation by Tina Beaird on how to "Become a Census Sensei." Stay as late as 9:30 pm for open use of AAPLD's genealogy resources.
Tina Beaird, author, historian, and lecturer will start off the workshop with a presentation. There are a variety of Census options when researching your ancestors rather than just the federal population schedules. Tina will explore additional Census schedules, like Mortality and Agriculture, plus how State, Military, Native-American, and School Censuses can be used to enhance your family tree.
We invite you to stay as late as 9:30 pm for help with your genealogy questions and open use of the library’s genealogy resources on your own device or a library computer. Our reference librarians will be happy to assist you.
AAPLD embraces inclusivity in its programs and services. To request accommodations, please email [info@aapld.org] or call (847) 458-6060 x143 at least 7 days in advance.
