Computer Lab HarnishJoin us for a Nature Journaling session with University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners, and discover a rewarding way to strengthen your connection to nature.
Nature journaling sharpens observation skills, sparks curiosity, and encourages mindfulness, helping you notice the colors, patterns, and details of the plants, animals, and landscapes around you. Whether in your yard, a forest preserve, or while traveling, it offers a personal way to record your observations and experiences, deepening your enjoyment of and connection to the natural world. In this program, you will learn journaling skills and techniques, develop observation, perception, inquiry, and connection skills, and explore the benefits of maintaining a regular nature journaling practice, gaining confidence and inspiration to make it a meaningful part of your everyday life.
No naturalist, artistic, drawing, or writing experience is required.
